In this role you will get to apply you skills developing software systems for use in a military tactical environment.What You'll Be Doing:Designing and developing microservice and web-based software applicationsDesigning and developing core infrastructure services and applications to be leveraged by other developers to build user-facing capabilitiesAssisting with the testing and integration of applications and systems prior to delivery to usersAssisting with cyber “hardening” of software to ensure the delivered software is secure and meets required cyber security standardsDesigning, developing, and maintaining internal tooling used in the creation of various software productsWorking closely with your teammates to solve problems and produce high-quality softwareContinuously challenging yourself to become a better software developerWhat Required Skills You'll Bring:U.S. Citizenship is requiredActive Secret clearance is preferred; candidate must be able to obtain a security clearanceObtained a degree in Computer Science or a related field, or have equivalent work experience with demonstrable capabilities and resultsDeveloped software leveraging Spring Java FrameworkDeveloped software leveraging JavaScript frameworks such as ReactJS or AngularDeveloped solutions leveraging REST and WebSocket technologiesAre able to use modern software build tools, including Git, Jenkins and GradleHave experience with and are comfortable using non-Windows (Linux, Mac OS X) platforms for software developmentWhat Desired Skills You'll Bring:Experience using Git (or a Git-based implementation, e.g. Stash, Bitbucket, GitHub) in a collaborative production environment-especially on a large-scale software projectExperience using Jenkins, Gradle and MavenPublished software projects for external consumption, or have made significant contributions to existing open-source projectsExperience with the Agile or Scrum development methodologyExperience working as part of a software development teamExperience with Atlassian products (Jira, Bitbucket/Stash, Nexus)Experience with continuous integration or build automation (e.g. Jenkins, Bamboo)Key Technologies:DockerReactJSWebSocketReduxKeycloakSpring Cloud GatewayGradleJava 17Spring BootRabbitMQMinimum Clearance Required to Start: SecretThis position is part of our Federal Solutions team.Our Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
