- Diagnose equipment failures, finds root cause, and communicates and implements actions taken to the rest of the team
- Collaborates with engineering or other cross functional groups to resolve maintenance issues, improve equipment reliability, review procedures, and minimize equipment downtime
- Support of Production Equipment to improve throughput and reduce downtime including procurement, installation, upgrades, design modifications, troubleshooting failures, reducing operating costs
- Day to day coverage of production line equipment: respond to alarms, breakdowns, and Production requests quickly and efficiently to minimize downtime
- Investigates and implements countermeasures to prevent the repetitive breakdown of equipment's
- Lead the installation, modification, upgrade, and maintenance planning of manufacturing equipment
- engineering organizations
- Plans for future development in-line with strategic business objectives
- Develops, maintains, and enforces maintenance-related standards and procedures
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electro-Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Minimum of 5-years' work experience with automated equipment.
- Electrical, electronic, and mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience in the use of hand, power, and machine shop tools
- Experience in coordination and oversight of contractors and vendors
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Mechanical and machine design experience a plus
- Experience in PLC programming/ladder logic a plus
- Demonstrate open, clear, concise and professional communication
- Ability to complete assignments with attention to detail and high degree of accuracy
- Must be knowledgeable of pertinent OSHA rules and regulations
- Robotic, mechanical, and electrical trouble shooting skills required
- This position requires stooping and lifting, substantial walking and manual dexterity
