Here, innovative thought meets creative problem solving, helping us “challenge the status quo” and transform the finance industry together.Duties: Build cloud based solutions and services for application teams to deploy, manage, configure, scale, and supervise their applications. Write modules for Cloud solutions. Engineer any existing bugs and identify ways to optimize. Actively participate in peer review of code and cloud design to ensure the code quality and best practices. Test the cloud infrastructure services. Ensure best practices pertaining to software delivery, provisioning infrastructure, adding safeguards, and installing security agents making infrastructure more robust and dynamic. Perform proactive daily system monitoring including reviewing system and application logs as well as responding to, triaging, solving, and remediating incidents. Implementing new Patterns and Solutions required to better assist application teams achieve Prod Readiness. Communicate strategic technology plans to associated business partners, ensuring collaboration across technology and the business. Position allows for partial remote work. Must live within reasonable commuting distance. Reports to company office in Westlake, TX. Subject to Schwab’s internal approach to workplace flexibility.Starting compensation for this location depends on related experience. Annual bonus opportunity and other eligible earnings are not included in the range(s) above. We offer a competitive benefits package, see below for details.Salary: $139,464.00 - $175,400.00What you haveJob Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field. Requires progressive, post-bachelor’s related experience (5 years with Bachelor's OR 3 years with Master's), which must include some experience in each of the following skills: Terraform or similar for provisioning cloud service provider environment or for use in DevOps environment; Cloud Service provider (GCP or AWS or Azure) with provisioning environments or use in DevOps environment; DB/SQL; Cloud storage - hosted object storage service, file storage, or block storage; and Cloud computing testing (Terratest with Go Lanuage or Bash script).
