The role will cover a broad range of topics within the tax area, including;Monitor compliance with tax laws in our main jurisdictions (Norway and Sweden), with assistance from external lawyers to the extent necessary for country specific legislationIdentify opportunities relating to tax optimisation and cost effectivenessAdvice and support in transactions, restructuring and establishment of new businessesAdvice in relation to tax reportingCommunicate with tax authorities in connection with audits and other enquiriesAssessment and documentation related to transfer pricing of intra-group transactionsGeneral advice within tax and VATWho we are looking forQualifications:Bachelor- or master’s degree in law, economics or related field5+ years of experience with Norwegian and international tax, as well as VAT, from accounting, financial or tax advisory firms, law firms or in-house rolesFluency in Norwegian or another Scandinavian language, as well as full professional proficiency in EnglishPersonal trades:Independent and proactive way of workingStrong time management skills, and ability to efficiently manage workload and multiple concurrent projectsGood analytical skillsAbility to communicate efficientlyAbility to collaborate in cross-disciplinary teamsWe can offerAn interesting work environment for lawyers wishing to develop their skills and have a high impact in an organisation with brands and companies that reach millions of customers every dayBeing part of a business-minded legal team with lawyers located in Oslo and StockholmOffice spaces centrally located in OsloCompetitive salary and benefitsThe role reports to Schibsted Media’s Legal Director, Simen Breen.
