- Provide friendly, fast, and helpful customer service to all guests and team members.
- Provide security for casino property; maintains high visibility, handles problem situations, watches for safety hazards, and provides assistance during emergencies.
- Patrol parking lots and property.
- Contact all persons or vehicles displaying suspicious behavior.
- Provide escorts as needed.
- Oversee customer presence on property to include: provide crowd control, direct traffic, check I.D., provide line management when elevators congest and check for items not allowed on casino property.
- Communicate all concerns regarding building maintenance/safety concerns to Facilities.
- Provide waters to guests as needed.
- Pick up trash and ensure cleanliness of property.
- Provide assistance to customers: answer questions, handle complaints, call for cabs, etc.
- Report accidents and incidents in both written and verbal form. Collect and compile investigation as needed. Write detailed reports as required for incidents involving law violations and/or violations of company policy and procedure.
- Testify in court when necessary.
- Meet department uniform, appearance, and grooming requirements.
- Keep work areas clean and free of safety hazards, debris, and litter.
- Perform all job duties in a safe and responsible manner.
- Must adhere to regulatory, department and company policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
- Previous customer service experience
- Ability to display professionalism
- Must be able to run on level surfaces, as well as up and down stairs
- Ability to identify and quickly respond to potential problems and conflicts; and defend self and others in combative situations
- Ability to effectively and efficiently move around all work areas including walking and standing for long periods of time
- Ability to multi-task as required
- Must be able to earn and maintain an American Heart Association CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Must have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving history.
- Ability to earn and maintain TiPS certification
- Must be able to acquire and maintain appropriate gaming license
