  • Leading the strategy, growth, and execution of the Surface Electronic Maritime business. This includes a strong partnership with business development, engineering and key technical leadership team members.
  • Overseeing the development and production of the Next Navy Generation Surface Naval Systems.
  • Managing the full lifecycle of execution for this 100M per year portfolio, spanning multiple production efforts.
  • Driving and guiding the financial strategies to grow and sustain the portfolio.
  • Leading a team of cross-functional program and functional leaders. Owning their talent development and the full scale of organizational resourcing.

  • Demonstrated experience leading large project teams, demonstrated leadership capability as a program leader
  • Experience building strong customer relationships and driving executive level communications
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a budget and schedule successfully
  • Must hold an secret clearance with the ability to obtain a top secret clearance
  • Capture and business growth pipeline management
  • Earned Value Management System (EVMS) and experience partnering with enterprise performance
Desired skills
  • Experience with Electronic Warfare Systems design and development
  • Understanding of Lockheed Martin's EW portfolio
  • Skilled in development project execution with special focus on transition to production
  • Knowledge of Navy customer set
  • Broad knowledge of all engineering functions including software, firmware, hardware, RF electronics, systems engineer and integration and test
  • Significant vendor and subcontract management expertise
  • Proficient in maintaining and managing Design to Unit Price/Cost (DTUPC)
  • Ability to operate and excel in rapid prototype design
  • Capability to work across all levels of team and leadership
  • Demonstrated reuse exploitation to the minimize development cost and reduce execution risk
  • Experience managing the full life cycle of systems
