Job Summary:The Staff Physician shall be licensed in the State of Mississippi. Performs histories and physicals; diagnoses and treats appropriate conditions for specialties. Active Highland Community Hospital medical staff with privileges to practice as appropriate. Complies with established standards, procedures, and policies of Forrest Health. Cost-effectively utilize supplies and equipment. Maintains a clean, orderly, safe environment for patients and personnel. Cooperates with other personnel to achieve Clinic objectives and maintain good employee, interdepartmental, and public relations. Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information, and abide by established communication code. Successful completion of a residency in Pediatrics.Work Experience:Experience in some type of primary patient contact desirable.Certification/Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE Eligible to obtain Mississippi State Licensure.
