This position is responsible for development and unit testing for assigned products and their associated releases; ensuring that software meets quality standards for our user base according to the company's stated delivery schedule. This role will work with Testing to troubleshoot and correct software deficiencies and defects throughout the testing cycles. This role will work with existing software products as well as future strategic development efforts using a range of technologies including but not limited to Delphi, C# WinForms, C# Core, SQL Server, MVC, HTML5, bootstrapper.js, jQuery, WCF, Web API, MEF, and Entity Framework.Key Responsibilities:
- Translate requirements and user stories into functional applications
- Design, build and Maintain efficient, reusable and reliable applications using Delphi, COM, C#, .Net and Object-Oriented techniques
- Design UI/UX for WinForms and Web Based applications
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Database analysis and design using SQL Server
- Multitier architectural design (Presentation, Business, Data)
- Participate in best practices in software development discussions
- Participate in stand up, grooming, planning, demo, and retrospective meetings
- At a minimum, the ability to work from (8:00, 8:30 or 9:00am) to (5:00, 5:30 or 6:00pm) Monday through Friday.
- Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
- Ability to accept supervision.
- Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person.
- Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- B.S . in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering or equivalent work experience
- 3+ years of experience/proficiency in Delphi, C# .Net (Winforms/MVC/WebForms/WCF/Web API)
- 1+ years of experience using COM technologies in Delphi and C# .Net
- 3+ years of experience with SQL Server database (or comparable db)
- Strong understanding of Object-oriented software development
- Understanding of the Agile Development Methodology is a nice to have
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
- Experience /proficiency in using JIRA and BitBucket.
Hourly W2 pay rate $70-80
