The Technical Support Specialist - Tier 2 is responsible for the daily support, coordination, and resolution of critical IT system issues for the company. This includes installing, upgrading, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining our data, server, security, and storage. Provide hands-on resolution of individual computer, printer and phone issues as needed. This is a high-profile position that requires exceptional problem solving and interpersonal skills.This position is 100% ONSITE
Salary: $55-60KDuties and Responsibilities:
  • Design, install and maintain network and system components.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Coordinate procurement of new laptops, iPhones, and printer cartridges.
  • Collaborate with vendors and services providers to resolve issues.
  • Recommend equipment upgrades and enhancements to improve network and system performance.
  • Maintain accurate equipment inventory and network diagrams.
  • Assist with ongoing projects and recommend enhancements.
  • Maintain all PC's and peripherals (PC interface to mainframes) including installing, testing, troubleshooting, and resolving issues to ensure all MIS standards are maintained.
  • Respond to incoming questions and resolve network user issues.
  • Keep current with technological changes and industry improvements.
  • Maintain network assets and license information of each user.
  • Manage email, fax, and voice servers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Training, Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology required.
  • 4+ years of experience in network support and design of relevant network hardware and software.
  • Advanced knowledge working with Microsoft Office 365, Azure Cloud Platforms including Azure Active Directory, Intune, and VPN products.
  • Ability to adapt to a changing environment and be proactive.
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to research, analyze, problem-solve, and escalate issues as needed.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and follow instructions in a timely fashion.
Working Conditions:

  • Occasional car or air travel to other company facilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally.
