- Supports new hires and managers with the completion of applicant packets and new hire orientation process and documents.
- Provides guidance to new hires with completing all background clearance processes; tracks and follows up as necessary.
- Collects, reviews, and manages documents required to process Licensed Independent Contract Professionals (LIP, interns, and volunteers).
- Performs data entry of new hire data
- Tracks, files, and archives documents in the HR system and HR Intranet site.
- Completes and updates the I-9 binder.
- Monitors access to employee information to safeguards the security and integrity of employee records.
- Maintains the SharePoint SHPT and COVID-19 Vaccine Tracker.
- Responds to employment verifications.
- Scans, faxes, and makes copies of documents as requested.
- Runs reports from HR system or SharePoint site as needed.
- Processes and distributes HR department mail and faxes.
- Assists with department projects.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- AA degree or equivalent work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint or Content Management System desired.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to self-direct.
- Ability to present a professional demeanor and to work well under pressure.
- Ability to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Meets all state required conditions of employment as set forth by Community Care Licensing for a Licensed Community Care facility, i.e., Fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health Physical, valid CDL, and clean driving record.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, staff, and partners.
- Ability to listen actively and clearly to intake and comprehend the needs of clients, follow instructions, or to collaborate effectively with partners.
- Ability to comprehend, follow, and clearly convey information to others.
- Ability to work on premise in the office.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs.
- Ability to operate a telephone, cell phone, copier, computer and other office equipment as required.
- Ability to handle or manipulate objects, materials, tools, and operate controls.
- Ability to reach for stacked products, store and retrieve file boxes on high shelves.
- Ability to push, pull, lift and/or carry as much as 25 lbs.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position and work on a computer for up to 40 hours per week.
