OLM Food Solutions is taking applications for a Training Manager. This is a full time, salaried position that does require travel. The Training Manager will provide the effective development, coordination and presentation of training and development programs and support tools for all OLM Associates.
  • Franchisee and Licensee Store Support:
  • Project management of New Store Trainings via the Zoho CRM and Zoho calendar.
  • Accountable for the NSO (New Store Opening) training of all OLM Food Solutions franchise or license agreement locations.
  • Maintain a system for training new locations following the formats and guidelines documented in the OLM Food Solutions Franchise Agreement and relative License agreements.
  • Provide feedback and follow up with the OLM Food Solutions personnel regarding the training and opening of new locations.
  • Administer Alto-Shaam and Chef Linc Oven Software, Recipes, and Warranty information.
  • Collaborate with Research and Development to ensure Core Menus for OLM Food Solutions brands are valid and updated accordingly.
  • Collaborate with Customer Solutions to prepare and maintain franchise order guides.
  • General Management:
  • Develop, maintain, and manage a successful and efficient field training team.
  • Manage & prioritize FTS team and resources in a fiscally responsible manner.
  • Manage FTS teams' WFH (work from home) time to maintain the team's effectiveness and efficiencies.
  • Maintain training equipment and supplies in safe and good working conditions.
  • Reserve training rooms and set up training equipment for conducting training programs.
  • Prepare NSO reporting and Training Program reporting as requested.
  • Utilize the Company's Service Desk or UKG Learning help to manage updates and requests for training.
  • Training:
  • Use Adult Learning - schema building, experiential, and discovery learning to maximize training effectiveness.
  • Plan, develop, implement, and prioritize training programs as requested to achieve field personnel efficiency or to suit the current organizational needs and strategies.
  • Develop creative and innovative approaches to present training programs.
  • Maintain a system for training new hires and cross-training OLM associates on the utilization of software and hardware used in the field including, but not limited to, Car Data, Zoho, Customer Portal, and RightBytes.
  • Annually review all OLM location-specific training programs and recommend improvements.
  • Collaborate across departments to plan, develop, implement, and maintain onboarding journeys for new hires/promotes.
  • Collaborate across departments to identify and support relevant training needs when requested.
  • Collaborate with the Content Design Team in creation/modification of training materials, training alerts, etc.
  • Provide training support in the field or an OLM Location when needed to achieve company strategies.
  • Other duties as assigned to support education across OLM Food Solutions.

  • Education and/or Experience. Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Communication/Language Skills. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) are a must. Ability to read and comprehend documents, simple instructions, and product labels.
  • Technical Competencies. Experience & knowledge in MS Office 365 products, customer relationship management or database software, and learning management systems is required. Ability to accurately operate franchise and license store equipment, i.e., ovens, utensils, POS systems, etc.
  • Mathematical Skills. Strong analytical skills with the ability to calculate figures and amounts along with performing basic math functions.
  • Reasoning Abilities. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities.
