- Approving, signing-off and building any solution to be implemented on ABB production environment, within the respective service line, keeping the quality and safety in a controlled manner. Defining the technical IS solution and ensuring alignment with other modules and surrounding IS applications through cooperation and collaboration across IS solution architects and IS delivery units
- Engaging in requirement engineering to decide which requirements are covered by available standard functionalities, for which functionalities enhancements are needed and for which functionalities workarounds are accepted. Supporting validation and prioritization of incoming business demand in collaboration with the relevant IS Service Owner and IS Lead Architect
- Contributing to IS problem and IS incident management to fight ticket volume by detecting re-occurring defects and eliminating these. Proactively supporting issue resolution during project delivery to avoid delays or any other form of negative impact to a project or service. Ensuring manuals for users are created to describe the operating procedures
- Supporting the installation, management, maintenance and optimization of IS internal and cross-functional processes related to ERP domain. Ensuring proper decision making, commitment management and business engagement through steering committee participation
- Ensuring work in the delivery domain is compliant with ABB IS enterprise architecture, the ABB IS application roadmap and any other applicable ABB group directives and ABB group guidelines, especially ABB IS guidelines and directive, which deal with IS service delivery
- Managing assigned budget effectively and delivering activities within agreed schedules and costs. Participating in the definition of costs and schedules. In concert with IS business relationship ensuring satisfaction with IS services understanding their strategic and tactical needs, making sure actions are taken to close any gaps and influencing stakeholder perceptions of the relevant IS services
- Supporting in major incident and critical situation resolution including stakeholder communication (business, delivery, service desk). Supporting IS problem management to ensure ticket volume is managed and re-occurring defects are eliminated. Participating in a broader solution development framework community of practices
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or any related technical field
- Minimum 5+ years in a basis administration or system administration role experience along with SAP system sizing, landscape architecture, design and setup. SAP upgrade or migration, especially HANA and S/4HANA
- Proven track record of technical background in software or infrastructure design, development and cloud implementation. Knowledgeable on multiple DB technologies especially (DB2, Oracle, ASE) to HANA and strong working knowledge of Instance Types, storage, OS, Network, Disaster Recovery and high availability approaches in the context of running SAP on hyperscaler cloud
- Excellent know how of the technology of the ERP ecosystem including integrations. Proven track record of mock-up designs and leading design thinking sessions for a specific service line solution
- Experience in track record of creating solution designs and leading implementation teams. Deep analytical skills and the ability to see the connections between layers of business operations
