- Read tape measure to accurately perform job assignment.
- Skill and ability to cut simple parts from patterns with supervision.
- Keep a clean and safe work area.
- Basic understanding and safe operation of power tools with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to identify all parts necessary to perform job duties.
- Install basic components of boats including: plumbing, wiring, steering wheels, consoles, carper, vinyl and decals.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures and basic drawings.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Wearing of company provided personal protection equipment.
- Ability to effectively communicate information to team members and supervisors.
- High School diploma or GED.
- 1 year or less experience in fabrication or demonstrated ability to perform essential duties.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Frequent reaching with arms and hands.
- Bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling.
- Walk, climb and balance frequently.
- Frequent lifting and moving of 50 pounds or more.
- Close vision focus, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- This is a safety-sensitive position.
