Job Description:PRN - Variance in scheduleAs neededJob Description:Provides advanced life support care to patients who are ill and/or injured.Administers direct care to the patient of all age groups under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician’s assistant, and emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or utilizes approved EMS medical protocols if transporting a patient.Ensures adherence to hospital and department policies as well as paramedic scope of practice.Requirements:Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic Licensure by the Kentucky Board of EMSValid Kentucky Motor Vehicle Operator’s LicenseValid Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification (ACLS) through the American Heart AssociationValid Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certifications (PALS) through the American Heart Association.
