- Drive continued efficiency improvements through the effective use of metrics, 5S, and the PPI process Recommend and implement changes in manufacturing procedures to improve product quality and production efficiency
- Ensures that the schedule provided to them by their supervisor is followed
- Responsible for setting up Work Centers in a timely and organized manner, tearing down the Work Center when the Work Order is complete
- Ensure others perform tasks with high degree of care and attention
- Ensure team members follow work instructions and procedures, drawings, and customer specifications required
- Advises production for manufacturing jobs to provide on time delivery for customers
- Ensure daily/weekly overtime coverage schedules are posted according to the policy
- Holds team members and functions accountable for timely execution of project results bring up issues when vital to provide core team members with needed support.
- Drive cross training
- Drive safety/housekeeping
- Complete vital production paperwork and documentation
- Identifies safety hazards, unsafe conditions and/or unsafe acts through safety audits and initiatives, recommends corrective actions
- Will be tasked to establish in process and out process metrics to drive on time delivery to production.
- Responsible for leading, training and development of associates
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Degree is a plus
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing required
- Prior people leadership experience
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, plan, and forecast multiple projects at one time
- Ability to work in a team environment and influence others to achieve results.
- Self-motivated with bias for action.
- Excellent interpersonal and persuasive communications abilities.
- Outstanding follow up and organizational skills.
