This brings a complex structure of pricing, cost, and profitability across product lines and geographies, which requires us to excel at insights, analyses, and optimizations to keep succeeding commercially. To help us improve and gain even better insights into our whole business, and to be a leading force in ensuring profitability, we are now searching for a Business Performance Manager in our Finance team.This global role will report to the Head of Business Performance and Financial Planning under SVP Finance, Strategy & ESG, and simultaneously work and collaborate closely with SVP Marine Products and other executive team members in addition to our global organization.The Business Performance Manager will be responsible for developing a strong understanding of the performance of Marine Products and the business performance across WSS, ensuring high quality, efficient, and effective delivery of business intelligence. This will include supporting the business, by leveraging our competitive advantages through strategic initiatives based on your analyses. The role will be conducting regular business reviews with business units and developing and maintaining KPIs, dashboards & reports. You will be responsible for conducting analyses on a broad array of business performance metrics including P&L and financials, productivity data, quality control measurements, operational KPIs, etc, and influence our business performance and decisions through quality data and depth of analytical insights. In short, you will be responsible for most of our management P&L.The role requires combining analytical and commercial abilities with a business-oriented mindset, communication abilities to convey findings to top management, and detailed knowledge and capabilities to design and execute analyses and tasks necessary. WSS has an ambitious growth agenda and this role will own how we analyze and view the business going forward.   • Leading all aspects of business performance including crafting, and implementing scorecards and objectives for the functions and business units. This includes the suggestions of KPIs/drivers and targets.
  • Developing analysis, tools, and models using complex data to support the business units to identify business opportunities, and improvement potentials and make decisions
  • Using data to derive insights. Using insights to drive actions, bringing performance to WSS.
  • Leading annual strategic business planning processes leading to an agreed investment plan.
  • Producing meaningful and accurate observations and recommendations for improving operational and financial performance
  • Presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders in business units and management.
  • Create/Optimise data sources, measurement processes, and data sharing/ dashboards
Desired Qualifications
  • University degree in economics, business administration, or finance.
  • Experienced professional with 4 - 6 years of relevant working experience from either management consulting, audit, or industry.
  • Good understanding of P&L, profitability analyses, and performance management
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to present complex analyses in a simplified manner to stakeholders
