NextPath Career Partners is currently seeking a Business Development Manager – IT Consulting to join our client's team in Orlando, FL. This is a hybrid, direct hire position.SALARY: $45-$60K + bonus (depending on experience)REQUIREMENTS:
  • Experience in sales, preferably in IT or related field.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques and upselling strategies.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Maintain a professional image, be courteous, and be customer service oriented.
  • Working knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.
  • Exceptional customer service skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and transportation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Qualify and convert leads into successful sales.
  • Represent the company in outside sales efforts, including client meetings and presentations.
  • Operate as the main point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Oversee customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximize profit.
  • Generate opportunities with existing customers through effective upselling techniques.
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients.
  • On-site visits to client and potential locations in and around Central Florida
  • Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to increase market penetration.
  • Ensure an outstanding customer experience through all stages of the sales process.
  • Create quotes for existing and potential clients.
  • Establish and maintain vendor relationships for product quotes and purchase order processing.
  • Attend networking and marketing functions through our Chamber relationships other affiliations.
  • Keep up-to-date with the industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities in our field.
