- Project manage communication and track timelines with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams.
- Support the development of visual merchandising guidelines for all retail partners.
- Manage communications and requests from the field, ensuring timely fulfillment.
- Update merchandising guides, checklists, floor plans, and schematics for retail channels.
- Maintain and organize sourced visual merchandising elements inventory, placing orders as needed.
- Sketch and design new visual merchandising concepts for events/hallmark spaces.
- Assist in building preliminary mockups of new concept design models and storyboards as needed.
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure on-time delivery of visual merchandising-related creative assets.
- Ensure in-store execution aligns with brand standards for NYC flagship stores on a monthly basis.
- Support Director’s Sales training & education through ongoing field training.
- Maintain oversight of visual merchandising budget and invoices.
This role requires a strong problem-solving mindset, coupled with effective project management and communication skills, to ensure successful execution of visual merchandising initiatives tailored to diverse retail environments and stakeholder needs.Experience:
- Strong technical, communication, and visual merchandising background.
- Results-oriented and action-driven, with a proactive approach to initiative, ownership, and accountability.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- 2-4 years of visual merchandising experience, with preference given to those with specialty and department store retailer experience.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Visual Design, Merchandising, Fine Arts, or Interior Design.
- Proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, SketchUp, InDesign, Excel, and Microsoft Office/PowerPoint.
