The Corporate Sustainability team at NVIDIA is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented sustainability professional to help track and drive improvement in the environmental sustainability of our products and services. In this role, you will use your technical expertise and knowledge of environmental impact frameworks to calculate and model impacts for NVIDIA’s products. You will collaborate with members of the engineering, supply chain, finance and sales teams to collect and analyze product-related data. You will use that data to run life cycle assessments and product carbon footprints and to advise internal teams on sustainable product design. And you will play a key role in educating people about the sustainability of NVIDIA’s products and services.What you’ll be doing:Collect and analyze technical and other data for NVIDIA’s products and services and advise engineering teams on sustainable product designPerform and/or support life cycle assessments and product carbon footprintsDevelop robust use models for NVIDIA productsDevelop processes and tools to enable dynamic updates to product environmental modelsDevelop methodologies and processes for calculating upstream environmental impacts based on hybrid datasets (primary and secondary)Develop credible methodologies to track and communicate sustainability-related improvements in NVIDIA products and servicesDraft materials to communicate product-related ESG data to internal and external audiencesWhat we need to see:Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic credentials, with a strong preference for electrical or computer engineering6+ years of direct experience leading or participating in product life cycle assessments or related work in the tech industryDetailed knowledge of sustainability standards, including the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and ISO 14040 and 14044Experience developing environmental impact models for electronic components and/or systemsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to think creatively, function independently and work proactively in a fast-paced environmentWays to stand out from the crowd:Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to take own initiativeMust work well in a team-oriented environment, as well as independentlyAbility to handle complexity and demands with a sense of urgency, drive and passion.NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the world’s most desirable employers, and perennially ranked among the very best tech companies to work for by Forbes, Fortune, and Glassdoor! Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.You will also be eligible for equity and .
