Title: Global Supply Chain Senior Data AnalystCompany: Ipsen Pharma (SAS)Job Description:The Global Supply Chain Senior Data Analyst is dedicated to support all aspects of the Global S&OP, including Demand, Supply & Inventory Management and S&OP processes. In this role you will leverages analytical skills to collect, organize and interpret data, develop actionable insights, and contribute to continuous process improvement. By ensuring data accuracy, process adherence, and proactive problem-solving, this role supports informed decision-making and strategic alignment across our global supply chain network.Main responsibilities:Data Analysis & Reporting:Collect, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to support informed decision-making within the S&OP process, including Global Demand Review, Global Supply Review, Executive S&OP and Global Brand S&OPCreate and maintain dashboards and performance reports focusing on demand, supply, inventory, and master data, proposing actionable improvement plansEnsure adherence to demand planning, supply planning, and inventory management processes through regular data analysis, identifying areas for process optimizationIdentify and investigate process challenges and inefficiencies, developing solutions to enhance S&OP execution and effectivenessCollaborate with Global Supply Chain systems and process team to develop & enhance Business Intelligence (BI) tools for Supply Chain analytics. This includes defining requirements, testing new features and ensuring the tools meet the analytical needs of Supply Chain OperationsTraining and Development:Assist in developing training materials and best practices within the supply chain network to enhance operational knowledge and efficiencyTrain the Supply Chain network in routine trainingSupport Global S&OP Team:Inventory management: Support inventory analysis and reporting to optimize inventory levels and turnover. Assist in developing strategies to reduce excess and obsolete inventory and improve working capitalDemand & supply planning: contribute to demand and supply planning processes by analyzing demand forecasts, production plans and capacity constraints. Assist in aligning supply plans with demand forecasts to meet business objectivesBackup Support: Serve as a backup to the Global Demand Lead and Global Inventory & Supply LeadProject Support:Offer data analytics support for supply chain projects, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and successful project outcomesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives by leveraging data analytics to enhance supply chain efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levelsKnowledge, abilities & experienceEducation / Certifications:Master degree in supply chain or Engineer or Business DegreeCertification in ASCM CPIM or equivalent is a plusExperience:2+ years of relevant experience in supply chain analysis, planning, or related roles, with a strong analytical and problem-solving background.Proficiency in Business Intelligence (BI) tools, data analysis software, and advanced Excel. ERP system experience (e.g. SAP) highly valued.Capacity to process high volume of data, analyse and root cause and propose creative ideas to improve way of workingFinancial acumen including a full understanding of how supply chain planning decisions impact the balance sheet and profit & loss.Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex data into actionable insights.Knowledge of pharmaceutical business is an advantage.Languages:Fluent English.
