Your responsibilities will include:- Utilizing your proven working experience in construction estimating or a related field- Demonstrating a strong technical knowledge of various mechanical systems- Applying your expertise in HVAC and piping systems, construction details/design, and relevant rules and regulations- Collaborating with the team to develop thorough and accurate estimates and scope of work/proposal documents- "Filling in the gaps" in bidding documents to ensure a complete estimate is produced- Working independently and as part of a collaborative team- Using your excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey information- Managing time efficiently to meet deadlines and handle changing priorities- Seamlessly navigating construction drawings and specifications- Exercising your basic knowledge of construction accountingTo excel in this position, you should possess the following essential job functions:- 3+ years of experience in a similar role- A strong background in construction estimating or a related field- Deep knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, building products, and construction details/design- Familiarity with relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills- Basic construction accounting knowledge- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and specifications- Self-motivation and excellent time management skills- The ability to work within deadlines and multitask with changing priorities- The capability to develop thorough and accurate estimates and scope of work/proposal documents- Experience with one or more of the following; SimPro, Service Titan, Procore, or FieldEdgeIn addition to these responsibilities and qualifications, this is an amazing opportunity for candidates who want to make a splash in the industry.
