  • Support Project Management: Assist project managers in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, and submittals, to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Communication: Facilitate communication between project teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project progress and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Budget Management: Assist in budget preparation, tracking, and forecasting, monitoring project expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Scheduling: Support the development and maintenance of project schedules using CPM scheduling software, ensuring alignment with project milestones and deadlines.
  • Quality Control: Conduct quality inspections and audits to verify compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions and ensure successful project delivery.
  • Client Relations: Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project teams, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to coordinate project activities and achieve project objectives.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project management processes, tools, and techniques.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of construction-related experience, preferably in the federal sector.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Microsoft Project and AutoCAD.
  • Knowledge of construction industry regulations, codes, and standards.
  • Ability to travel to project sites and attend client meetings as required.
