- Lead commercial supplier qualification activities to ensure the commercial development of strategic suppliers, lead cross-category and significant company-to-company critical issues; and support category issues for assigned suppliers as needed.
- Serve as the center of knowledge for the assigned supplier(s) and share knowledge with key customers and members of the category teams to enable more effective planning, forecasting, and execution.
- Partner with the category team and customers to build a comprehensive view of supplier performance.
- Communicate key supplier management updates and decisions to multiple levels in the organization, including Executive Leadership.
- Identify and evaluate category-specific savings/revenue levers.
- Drive category savings/revenue and scorecard metric targets.
- Provide market intelligence and category price trends to relevant internal customers.
- Lead global gas sourcing projects and strategies, from the scope definition stage, through decision analysis, executive award recommendation, and contract negotiation.
- Collaborate across categories to ensure unified multidisciplinary plans.
- Lead strategic plans for contract extensions and renewals, renegotiation of prices, improved terms and conditions, etc.
- Incorporate savings targets and contract requirements into bonded deals.
- Develop a contract strategy for suppliers in assigned categories and build, monitor, and enforce contract conditions.
- Collaborate with Collaborators to Deliver Strategic Solutions
- Develop and maintain your skills with the global assigned supplier(s) through relationships with Category Teams.
- Drive a customer-centric approach to solving issues and representing Procurement.
- Proficient in contract negotiation, sourcing of materials/equipment/services, and industrial gas processes
- Experienced in a supplier management role, preferably in a semiconductor or tech industry.
- Demonstrate experience in supplier management techniques.
- Ability to lead without direct authority.
- 5 years leading procurement and/or engineering projects.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering and/or business is preferred
- Strong negotiation skills, cross-team collaboration, proficiency in written and verbal communication, and presentation skills.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration
- Professional Procurement Certification (ISM, APICS, etc.)
- Project Management Professional Certification (PMP)
