Plant Maintenance Supervisor

- Ensures plants are able to run efficiently and effectively
- Approves and authorizes plant related maintenance transactions including PO's, service orders, and parts and supply orders
- Diagnose, troubleshoots and repairs plant equipment, electrical systems, and equipment controls in a timely manner to ensure production schedules are met
- Prepares and schedules winter repairs and PM's
- Schedules preventative maintenance
- Advises plant managers and operators of problems, possible problems, or schedule difficulties
- Collaborates with dispatch, operations and equipment
- Facilitates collaboration among plant personnel
- Promotes and maintains safe work environment
- Exhibits safe work behaviors, evaluates work areas for hazards, eliminates or controls hazards
- Wears all prescribed PPE
- Participates in daily safety huddles and safety training, follows safe work plans
- Reads and understands hazard signs, training material, work plans, and instruction manuals
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in industrial maintenance or related field
- Ideally 10+ years experience working in industrial maintenance position
- Extensive electrical background
- Ability to travel to various plants within the market (company truck provided)
- Maintenance software experience
- Experience with welding, fabrication, and plumbing

- Some exposure to a variety of extreme conditions at concrete plants, including heights, moving vehicles, moving equipment, live wires, exposed wires

- Indoor office conditions that include regular exposure to office equipment, such as computers, copiers, mail machines, and telephones
