This role requires a meticulous individual with strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of aviation operations, and the ability to foster cross-functional collaboration.Responsibilities include:

Lead the development of the annual operations plan, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives within the set cost targets
Collaborate cross-departmentally to establish operational goals and implement cost-saving initiatives.
Monitor and analyse monthly performance against the operating plan.
Provide insights and recommendations for corrective actions to meet or exceed performance targets.
Oversee costs/spending across operational areas and conduct in-depth variance analyses.
Identify root causes for any deviations from the operating plan, recommend and oversee corrective measures implementation with the respective business owner.
Identify, prioritize, and coordinate projects aimed at improving cost efficiency and operational effectiveness.
Drive standardization initiatives across different operational areas to enhance efficiency.
Foster collaboration and communication among operational departments to ensure a cohesive and streamlined approach.
Collaborate with IT and BI teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.

Requirements:

Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in financial modelling
Proven experience in business planning, performance management, and cost analysis preferably within airline/transportation industry
Growth mindset and can-do attitude
Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Aviation Management, or related field
Effective communication skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders at various levels
Teamwork and strong interpersonal skills
Growth mindset and can-do attitude
Fluent spoken / written English
