Job Responsibilities:
  • To prepare financial and regulatory reports to Group and to BNM and other regulatory authorities within the stipulated timeline;
  • To prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and board papers;
  • To ensure compliance with accounting standards (i.e., IFRS & MFRS), policies and regulatory guidelines;
  • To liaise with external bankers and regulators on clarifications and to provide additional information as and when required;
  • To participate in strategic data analysis, research and analyse financial reports and market trends for senior management; and
  • To participate in project and process improvements.
QualificationsJob Requirements:
  • Degree / Professional qualification in accounting (e.g., ACCA/ICAEW/CPA/MICPA) / finance / economics.
  • Knowledge and relevant experience in financial reporting (i.e., GP8/ financial statements/ Group reporting/ loans, derivatives matters/Sustainability & Climate-related reporting) and regulatory reporting (i.e., BNM reporting, PIDM reporting, MAS reporting) would be an added advantage.
  • Possess good communication, analytical & writing and problem solving skills. Proficient in Excel, Word & PowerPoint, with SQL, Qlikview, Power Query, Power BI, SmartView, etc., knowledge and experience will be an added advantage.
  • Self-starter must have positive attitude towards work and work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to work under pressure to meet tight timelines and a team player.
