- Guide the development of the asset care strategy and plan for the entire site; evaluating and developing solutions to drive uptime and stability of plant site.
- Develop asset care competencies within the Maintenance and Engineering team.
- Provide specialist guidance and advice on asset care management.
- Ensure reliability, availability, and maintainability techniques are incorporated into capital projects.
- Address problems with asset care program and lead the implementation of corrective actions.
- Manage required asset care systems and ensure functional and data integrity of information.
- Support the overall condition monitoring activities, ensuring that the relevant competencies are developed; setting up outsourced activities, evaluate and introduce monitoring techniques, conduct training partnering with training department and OEM/suppliers.
- Interpret data collected from condition monitoring, provide and implement recommendations working with key stakeholders.
- Assist with the on-going continuous improvement
- Support Asset Reliability Work Processes – eg FMEA, RCA, and Equipment Criticality Assessment.
- Provide technical support & expertise to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and improve reliability.
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance or reliability engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or related.
- Strong communication, leadership, and facilitation skills
- Demonstrated ability to effectively work with all levels in the organization
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance trouble-shooting and best practices
- Knowledgeable in predictive maintenance tools such as Vibration, Ultrasound, Thermography
- ISO category 1 vibration preferred.
- Experience with a maintenance management system (SAP preferred)
