CU Boulder Online Education has adopted Technolutions' Slate system to facilitate various business processes, including course selection, tuition payment, communications, and integration with PeopleSoft, CU's student information system called Campus Solutions. The Slate Developer performs front-end development and integration support. In particular, the Slate Developer is responsible for maintaining a number of course enrollment forms built in Technolutions Slate CRM to facilitate student enrollments for online programs that launch every 8 weeks as well as maintaining the integration with Campus Solutions.Functions
- Manage the release of new sessions of the enrollment forms for current online programs offered through Coursera.
- Update and maintain the integrations between Slate and Campus Solutions for each new session.
- Gather requirements for changes related to regular form releases and any associated Slate-based communications releases.
- Update forms when required with simple changes, new or updated Slate fields, prompts, bug fixes, 'down times', and new course information.
- Deploy and retire forms ('coming soon' forms, session forms, etc.) as required.
- Assist academic partners with requests for simple queries and Slate-based mailings. Work with QA to ensure new forms are ready for deployment.
- Coordinate processes and communicate with clients related to production forms and releases.
- Ensure readiness across all functional areas for new session enrollment prior to launch. • Work with front-end Slate developer and Slate administrator to ensure that any work that falls outside the scope of a normal release gets incorporated into any forms, communications, and back-end processes and integrations.
- Develop any technical documentation or guides necessary for any CU partners. • Assist in resolving end user technical issues
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- 1+ year of Technolutions Slate front-end development experience
- Willingness to learn basic administration of other technologies as needed (e.g.. Leepfrog, Peoplesoft)
- Technical background that includes advanced HTML, CSS and basic JavaScript programming
