- Work in-house at the site shop.
- Experience repairing and maintaining Case, Caterpillar, and Komatsu Heavy Equipment.
- Understand OSHA standards and maintain a clean workplace.
- Experience using diagnostic software such as CAT ET a plus (company will train).
- Proficient and knowledgeable in hydraulics, and electrical systems
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment. Familiar with Can Bus
- Experience and understanding of computer and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of diesel engines is a plus.
- Perform complex operations including fuel, hydraulic, and brake tests.
- Conduct inspections of equipment identifying mechanical or safety issues.
- Must be able to operate basic tools and specialty tools.
- Work independently or as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and show up on time.
- One-year certificate from an accredited college or technical school in diesel mechanics or a related field a plus
- 3+ years’ experience/or training/or classes in repairing and maintaining Case, Caterpillar and Komatsu Heavy Equipment.
- Valid Driver’s License (required).
- Class A or B CDL (or obtained within 1st year)
- Mathematical Skills.
