Operating processes using automated plant control systems (SCADA)
Operating pasteurisation and cleaning systems (CIP)
Operating continuous ice cream equipment and rotary fillers
Routine monitoring of process and equipment
Completing paperwork (moving to tablet) for confirmation of checks
Maintaining a high level of cleanliness to meet our Food Safety Standards
This role will involve working mostly Monday to Friday, weekend work may be required at times. The start time for the is role will usually be 5.30am but we will need flexibility as our workload increasesQualificationsFor this role, you’ll need:
Knowledge of food manufacturing, dairy experience would be an added benefit
Good computer literacy and experience working with automation systems
To be physically fit, able to cope with the manual nature of some tasks
Good communication both with colleagues and management
To follow Talley’s Health & Safety and food safety policies.
Have good work ethic and work history
Have attention to detail and effective time management
