AR/Office Billing Manager

- Lead and supervise a team of hybrid remote medical billing specialists, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity
- Manage the physical office space
- Lead the management of AR by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of claims and denials
- Stay abreast of healthcare regulations and insurance guidelines, ensuring compliance with billing and coding standards, HIPAA regulations, and other relevant requirements
- Prepare reports on billing performance, revenue trends, and key metrics, and provide analysis and recommendations for process improvements and revenue optimization
- Identify and implement any needed procedures to help maintain a streamlined, efficient organization
- Contribute to organizational success through sharing of knowledge and successes with operations team peers
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in medical billing, with progressive responsibility and leadership experience
- Experience with EPIC and Athena IDX preferred
- Strong understanding of medical billing and coding principles
- Experience managing remote employees
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements, including HIPAA
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement solutions
- Experience in managing Medicare, Medicaid, and Third-Party billing
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and delegate appropriately
- Proficient MS Office skills
