- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize productivity, efficiency, quality, schedule adherence, and cost-effectiveness across all manufacturing sites.

- Foster a culture of teamwork, respect, and continuous improvement while leading a team of site managers and manufacturing professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to drive performance and achieve manufacturing goals within budgetary parameters.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators to track the success of manufacturing initiatives and drive continuous improvement, while ensuring alignment with financial objectives.
- Collaborate with multi-functional teams, including supply chain, engineering, and finance, to ensure alignment across all aspects of the business.
- Drive innovation and technology adoption to enhance manufacturing processes, increase productivity, and maintain competitiveness, while managing associated costs and return on investment.
- Develop and continuously improve factory layout, physical and electronic tooling landscapes, with a view towards optimizing the use of automation and digital processing.
- Oversee risk management initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and implementing measures to mitigate risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, to support business objectives and foster a culture of collaboration.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Production Management, or a related field with 10+ years of successful experience in an engineer-to-order, capital equipment manufacturing environment.
- Prior experience and a proven track record within the rail industry, products, and equipment.
- Consistent track record of leadership and success in large, complex manufacturing environments, with experience managing multiple sites is preferred (About 35% travel required).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality management principles, and continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Excellent communication skills, able to effectively communicate complex concepts and build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- Strategic problem solver with the ability to translate business goals into actionable manufacturing strategy, plans and initiatives.
- Experience working in a global environment, with a strong understanding of international business practices and cultural considerations.
- Proven ability to inspire change and navigate through ambiguity in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
