DescriptionReports to the Assistant Director of Workforce Development Operations; provides instruction for Certified Clinical Medical Assistant programs as directed and uses effective teaching methods; responsible for monitoring and submitting daily sign-in sheets and other required forms in support of the program and documenting the progress of the students; performs related duties as assigned.Examples of Duties
  • Must hold a current Certified Clinical Medical Assistant certification (CCMA) as well as in Phlebotomy (CPT).
  • Minimum of three years of experience working in the field as a CCMA and have hands-on experience in the following areas for at least three years or more: Vitals, EKGs, Injections (Intramuscular, subcutaneous, and intradermal), Blood Specimen Collection (urine and other lab samples), Infection Control and Aseptic Technique.
  • In addition to clinical skills, must have a broad command of Medical Terminology, Anatomy and Physiology.
  • Ability to obtain patient histories.
  • Possess working knowledge of front desk duties. Strong computer skills using Word, Excel, and EMR.
Typical QualificationsMust be available to teach days, evenings, and weekends at any Atlantic Cape location.This is a part time position requiring up to 26 hours per week.
