This Maintenance Technician will be responsible for safety, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, inspections and preventive maintenance measures. Safely troubleshoot, upgrade, install, & repair mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, & pneumatic systems on injection molding machines, extrusion lines, & auxiliary equipment as needed,
Perform maintenance & repairs of plumbing, mechanical &/or electrical equipment,
Inspect & test machinery, equipment, help with molds to detect causes of problems,
Preventative maintenance to include diagnosis & repair, dismantling machinery, remove & replace worn or defective parts, repair hoses, wiring, valves, etc., reassemble & verify proper function,
May need to fabricate parts to maintain or improve equipment function,
Evaluate & suggest ways to eliminate recurring problems.
We’re looking for Maintenance Technicians with the following background profile/skillset:
2+ years of related experience, preferably in plastics manufacturing/processing,
Solid mechanical/electrical skills, including welding and hydraulic systems,
Experience in electrical distribution (24-480V)
Familiar with PLC operation & troubleshooting
