- Support test analysis (ground and flight tests), threat analysis, high fidelity radar analysis including tracking and discrimination, radar siting, warfighter request, and other areas as needed
- Perform analysis on recorded and model generated radar data
- Define and develop solutions for complex problems such as Special Radar Studies, Threat Analysis and Flight / Ground Test Planning and Analysis; including Study Definition, Data Extraction, Data Analysis, Tool Development, and Briefing Preparation
- Support technical reviews and information requests
- Disseminate results and update progress in the form of written and oral presentations
- Develop tools and perform analysis using MATLAB, C++, C#, Java, and other Scripting Languages (Bash, Python, Perl)
- Support the development and maintenance of medium and high fidelity computational tools to ensure accuracy and configuration control
- 12+ years working on missile defense-related or other complex, large DoD program/project
- Knowledge and application of phased array radar theory, function, and design
- Highly skilled in execution and analyses using digital radar M&S, specifically high fidelity radar models such as Open System Architecture Sensor Model and Common X-Band Element Development Tool and medium fidelity radar models
- Active Secret Clearance or higher required
- Develop MATLAB, Python or C++ scripts to support execution and post processing analysis activities for radar functions such as search, acquisition, track and discrimination and perform detailed root cause analysis as needed on unexpected performance
- Maintain software configuration for all SNEM-A developed and maintained tools, including documentation
- Develop and review technical memorandums, white papers, and briefings supporting findings and conclusions of analyses
- Works independently, applying engineering rigor to analyze and resolve problems within a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience with Program Management
- Experience implementing systems engineering "V" processes
- Ability to self-manage and initiate within team structure
- Ability to decompose complex problems to actionable elements
- Ability to work across organizational boundaries
- Ability presenting complex information and concepts to Leaders at various levels
- Proficient with Microsoft Office® applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Working knowledge of MDA Systems Engineering processes and procedures
- Working knowledge of MDA organizational structure
- Working knowledge of Missile Defense System (MDS) architecture and concepts
