AAR is the place of choice to build an inspiring career.The Alternate Lead Avionics Technician will assist the Lead Avionics Technician for all functions assigned to provide airworthiness of the aircraft upon completion of maintenance at the facility.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Establish work priorities to assist the lead. Insure work performed adheres to high quality standards.
  • Ensure all equipment if properly used and adequate safeguards are in place to protect aircraft and equipment.
  • All other duties as assigned.

QualificationsPRIMARY REQUIREMENTSMust be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) requiredOver 2+ years aviation avionics experienceFAA Airframe certification or hold a Repairman Certificate, and FCC Certificate, or a Radio Repairman Operator Certificate.Knowledge of FAA regulations including 14 CFRProven leadership abilities, such as taking personal responsibility, superb attendance, completing work in a timely manner, and performing tasks accurately.Takes initiative, such as, plans work and carries out tasks without detailed instructions.
