This position is ideal for a Master’s degree student or recent graduate who is passionate about human resources and looking to develop project management skills. As an HR Project Intern, you will work closely with senior HR professionals to support various HR initiatives and projects. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement based in Houston, Texas.A Day in the Life (Responsibilities):
  • Project Support: Assist in the planning, execution, and monitoring of HR projects. This includes tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing project documentation, and tracking project progress.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze HR data to support decision-making processes. This may include employee engagement surveys, performance metrics, and diversity and inclusion statistics.
  • Research and Benchmarking: Conduct research on HR best practices and benchmark our processes against industry standards. Provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Communication and Reporting: Prepare reports and presentations to communicate project status and findings to stakeholders. Create visualizations to present data insights clearly.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members across different departments to support HR initiatives and ensure the successful integration of project outcomes.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties to support the HR department, such as maintaining employee records, assisting with onboarding processes, and organizing training sessions.
  • Recruiting Support: Learn about HR processes and support recruiting in interview and selection, working in an ATS and providing hiring data for QBRs.
Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a master’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with HR information systems (HRIS) is a plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
