- Lead and strategize program implementation support for minimally invasive approaches & open concomitant procedures/programs with a focus on patient care management along the pathway, including disease state, anticoagulation recommendations and pain management discussions.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive educational program focusing on the company's product(s) and perioperative patient management for clinicians, including PAT/ICU/step-down units, office-based staff and operating room within assigned geography.
- Drive the formulation and dissemination of clinical best practice resources for internal/external training and program development to include algorithms and protocols in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Lead the design and implementation of a standardized clinical training pathway to support the safe and effective adoption of AtriCure innovative solutions for approved procedures and indications.
- Build and sustain relationships with clinicians, hospitals, and other key stakeholders to support clinical education objectives and to develop educational modules.
- Maintain expertise and knowledge in relation to AtriCure products and procedures, as well as current literature, key clinical papers, and trends in the industry.
- Collaborate closely with internal personnel to ensure all documentation related to HCP education is properly completed and submitted for the Company’s internal records system.
- Provide leadership and guidance with cross-functional teams for internal and external customer support, including training related activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Nursing, Health Sciences, or Biomedical Engineering); advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
- Minimum of 3 years medical device or pharma industry experience.
- Or, minimum of 7 years medical device or pharma industry experience.
- Experience in cardiac procedures with Atrial Fibrillation and left atrial appendage management is preferred
- Must exhibit a thorough working knowledge of typical hospital policies.
- Strong knowledge of perioperative patient management, minimally invasive approaches, and open concomitant procedures.
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with all levels of hospital staff.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor content to various audiences.
- Ability to work effectively and diplomatically with internal personnel to execute Company strategy, including senior management and sales personnel.
- Proficient with Outlook and the Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Customer Relation Management (CRM) and expense tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong project management skills.
- Ability to travel 75%, including overnights and occasional weekends.
- Ability to pass account and hospital credentialing processes.

- The base pay range for this position is $130,000 to $176,000 (highly experienced). The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience, and more)
