About the job Senior Manager System AdministratorSenior Manager System AdministrationPurpose of the JobAs a technology leader, this role oversees the operations necessary for system administration across all HR technical platforms. It ensures the maintenance of system administration within a governance framework, providing HR functions with a robust and efficient technology infrastructure, including learning, performance management, succession planning, management recruiting, frontline recruiting, compensation, HR service center, and benefits. The role manages the technical aspects of program development and deployment and aligns with the HR PMO to ensure the successful technical delivery of HR projects, including enterprise-wide and global initiatives. Leading a team of System Administrators and Analysts, this role is also accountable for vendor relationships and oversees meetings with vendors.Primary Duties & Responsibilities * Oversee the functional operations of the HRIS department, responsible for the implementation and maintenance of HRIS that support all HR functions, including Talent, Compensation, HR Administration, Shared Services, Total Rewards, and Payroll. Provide organization-wide infrastructure and customer service for HRIS functions. (20%)
  • Manage the technical aspects of up to 15 projects, many with a global scope. Develop and manage plans across all projects to deliver consistent, effective, and efficient solutions. Collaborate with HR PMO, HR Analytics, HR Change Management, and IS&T to align and deliver the HRIS vision. (20%)
  • Build and maintain functional relationships with key HR peers and stakeholders, including the global team. Influence internal leaders and managers to align on best practices for system use and related business processes. Manage a governance model to ensure successful processes. (20%)
  • Handle vendor management, including contract management against defined SLAs. Currently manage more than 20 technical vendor relationships, ensuring a consistent and well-planned approach to vendor interactions, maintenance timing, contract renewals, and system functionality evolution. (20%)
  • Lead a department of 3 exempt technical staff responsible for HRIS administration, project management, and system evolution. (20%)
Typical Knowledge & Skills
  • Expert-level experience with enterprise HRIS software (SuccessFactors, Workday, Cornerstone on Demand, iCIMS).
  • Experience with HCM system implementation.
  • Highly skilled in project management with full technical project life cycle experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to drive delivery.
  • Excellent people management skills, with demonstrated success in managing technical teams, preferably remotely.
  • Proven success in vendor management.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 0-5 years of management experience.
  • 3 years of functional experience.
