- Activate the F5 Brand Strategy
- Lead program manager for global brand initiatives
- Collaborate across organization with stakeholders to champion the F5 brand with all organizations teams by coordinating work streams and dependencies, track and communicate progress, and identify obstacles and ensure they are addressed
- Work with the wider Brand Studios team on governance, reputation and measurement of brand health
- Support the F5 brand portfolio, including naming strategies, brand name hierarchy, trademark management and enforcement, brand extensions, and co-branding opportunities
- Reinforce the importance of global brand consistency by finding and equipping F5 teams, partners and agencies with the tools and training needed to understand and comply with our brand platform and standards
- Cultivate and grow internal advocates and fans
- Work closely with campaign, digital and experiential teams to activate brand content across key channels
- Prepare and coordinate weekly reports and meetings
- Ability to see the big picture and the details all at once, such as understanding of both brand and business strategy
- Understanding of strategic brand concepts including brand architecture, sub-branding, and product portfolio management
- Knowledge of branding and positioning fundamentals
- Excellent writing, editing, presentation, and communication skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to exhibit solid interpersonal skills and build relationships across multiple departments and all levels of management, as well as outside the company
- 2-5+ years of real-world brand management experience with the care and nurturing of a publicly visible brand
- Technology experience or knowledge of B2B, applications and open source is a plus
- Excellent market or brand research experience is a big plus
- Experience working with creative teams/agencies or vendors
- Ability to listen, be nimble and adapt quickly to strategic changes
- Team player who can independently drive processes and tight timelines successfully
- Duties are performed in a normal office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table. Duties require the ability to utilize a computer, communicate over the telephone, and read printed material.
- Duties may require the ability to travel via automobile or airplane, approximately 10% of the time spent traveling.
