- Inspect, Maintain and occasionally install control panels and related components according to specifications and industry standards.
- Mount and wire control devices, sensors, switches, relays, and other electrical components onto panels and enclosures.
- Perform electrical wiring and connections for control systems, ensuring proper insulation, grounding, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, short circuits, and malfunctions in control panels and wiring systems.
- Maintain hydraulic systems and components integrated into control systems.
- Inspect hydraulic hoses, pumps, valves, and cylinders for leaks, wear, and proper functioning.
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair activities to ensure hydraulic systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on control systems to identify and address potential issues proactively.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot control system malfunctions, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to develop and implement upgrades, modifications, and enhancements to control systems as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history.
- Generate reports documenting findings, recommendations, and actions taken during maintenance and troubleshooting processes.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and other stakeholders to provide updates on maintenance activities and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Proven experience in control panel assembly, electrical wiring, and hydraulic systems maintenance, preferably within the energy industry or a related field.
- Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Prior knowledge of electrical and hydraulic principles, components, and systems.
- Familiarity with control systems, PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), HMI (Human-Machine Interface), and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems is plus.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety protocols and practices in all aspects of work.
- Solution-oriented, organized and self-motivated.
- Dependable and reliable – ability to work some non-traditional hours in and out of the shop.
- Pass background check and drug screen.
- Have a valid driver’s license and be able to drive long distances.
- Expected 40-55 hours per week.
- Ability to relocate to Seminole, TX prior to starting work (required).
- In-person position.
- Overtime and weekends as needed.
- Working in outdoor elements periodically.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certification in electrical, hydraulic, or control systems is advantageous.
- Relevant vocational or trade certifications (e.g., Electrician, Hydraulic Technician) may be preferred.
