- Must have complete knowledge of service time, menu, and any specials.
- Prepare, deliver, and service orders.
- Always inquire if additional service is needed.
- Responsible for each check.
- Responsible for pick-up tables and trays.
- Responsible for set-up, delivery and presentation of VIP amenity.
- Must consult with supervisor on any food pick-up difficulty.
- Complete all side work duties as assigned.
- Attend all designated staff meetings and training session
- Any other task as assigned by management
- Coffee maker/urn, toaster, microwave, beverage machines, bus trays, dishware, silverware, glassware, queen-mary cart, telephone, pen/pencil, photo-copying machine
- Walk-in refrigerator, Room Service tables, and hot box.
- Interior of hotel, in the restaurant, kitchen and guestroom. Exposure to extreme temperatures.
- Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals.
- Exposure to food items and beverages.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic and friendly with a positive attitude
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Prior food and beverage experience preferred but not required.
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull at least 30 lbs
- Must have valid ServSafe and Tips Certification or can obtain such valid certification prior to working
- Can walk and stand for the duration of the 8-10 hour shift
