We are assisting an established and rapidly growing Main Contractor in their search for an experienced Senior Planner in Oslo, Norway to play a key role in developing and managing project schedules, coordinating with project teams and monitoring progress to ensure timely completion of projects.Key Responsibilities and Requirements:Provide detailed project schedules, including activity arrangements, resource assignment, and critical path analysis, using project management software.Work together with project teams to ensure project milestones, deliverables, and timelines, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.Identify resource requirements for construction projects including materials, equipment, and subcontractors, and develop reliable schedules.Communicate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure timely availability of resources.Carry out a schedule risk analysis and identify potential schedule constraints, conflicts and develop solutions to minimise or eliminate project delays.Keep track of project schedules, incorporating changes, delays, and added information to maintain accuracy and reliability.Perform progress tracking systems and methodologies to monitor project performance against baseline schedules and key performance indicators (KPIs).Arrange regular progress reports and status updates for project stakeholders, highlighting schedule variances, milestones achieved, and upcoming activities.Look after potential risks related to project schedules, such as weather delays, supply chain disruptions, and resource availability issues, and develop alternative solutions.Attend meetings as required and contribute to the best of your knowledge.Communicate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to resolve schedule-related issues and maximise project delivery.Degree in Construction Management/ Engineering or related field.5+ years in a Project Planner role with a Main contractor.Data centre, life sciences and mission critical projects background is an advantage.Strong organisation, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Knowledgeable in planning software and tools such as Primavera 6.Please apply with your updated CV and we will contact you in return for a confidential discussion.Ideal candidates must be eligible to work in Norway.
