This postdoctoral research position will use quantitative and experimental approaches to study the cell cycle in the context of cancer. The successful candidate will take an interdisciplinary approach to understanding how individual cells adjust their cell cycle to escape cancer therapy. The postdoc will work with multiple collaborators in diverse disciplines including surgery, pharmacology, biochemistry, computational biology, and data science. The project is expected to result in novel findings and one or more publications of broad impact.
Minimum Education and Experience RequirementsThe position requires a PhD in cell biology, computational biology, biomedical engineering, pharmacology, or a related discipline.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and ExperienceThe successful candidate should have demonstrated expertise in human cell culture and/or tissue manipulation, imaging, image analysis, data visualization, and molecular biology techniques. The candidate should have a track recording of productivity that includes multiple publications in a related field.It is preferred that the candidate have a record of interdisciplinary training in both computational and experimental biomedical research and experience in the analysis of complex data sets.
