Hospitality Group currently consists of 3 different restaurant brands in multiple cities and growing, so your opportunities are endless!Job SummaryIdeal candidates will have at least 2 years of event sales and planning experience, have a passion for service, fine dining, wine, beer, cocktails, and most importantly, hospitality.Responsibilities
- Solicit new clients for corporate events to show and sell the space
- Meetings, seminars, cocktail parties, holiday parties, etc.
- May require some travel
- Show and sell the venue to parties
- Wedding receptions, birthday parties, anniversary parties, etc.
- Maintain client relationships
- Interact with host at events
- Return emails and phone calls in a timely manner
- Work well with others
- Send proposals to guests to fit their needs or budget
- Follow up with all guests
- Attend weekly 612North meetings
- Assist with any other needs that may arise
- Cleaning and organizing the Corporate Office
- Organize and possess high level of administration ability to effectively manage incoming and outgoing orders and documentation
- Set up and break down for events
- Marketing for special events for Drunken Fish and/or 612North
- Assist in updating our online advertising profiles for 612North on The Knot, WeddingWire, and other websites
- Assist with any marketing events, such as wedding shows, trade shows, and charity events
- Sales or catering experience is a must
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Sales-driven mentality with proven track record
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Good organizational skills and time management
- Detail-oriented and ability to multi-task
- Work as an integral part of the Drunken Fish/612North team and culture
- Create and continuously reinforce a positive and safe work environment
- Act as role model for company standards and uphold all policies and procedures within the company
- 21+ years old
- Education: High School or equivalent
- High Energy and Passion for the industry
- 2 + years prior professional experience in restaurant management and/or sales
- Approved state alcohol training required
- Good people management skills, communication and listening skills.
- Demonstrate time management and organizational skills
- Must be internally motivated and detail oriented and have a passion for teaching others
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
