The product attracts a global Investor base across Banks, Insurance Companies, Asset/Money Managers, Pension Funds, Hedge Funds and Institutional Investors with a deep list of CLO Issuers.BNP Paribas’ CLO platform was set up in 2012 and in 2024 BNP ranked top-5 Arranger. The business’ goal is to achieve a consistent top-5 ranking over the next couple of years and top 3 after that whilst maintaining Best European CLO Arranger in the US.BNP Paribas’ Syndicate Desk supports a global platform that is responsible for marketing and distributing all primary fixed income transactions. The Syndicate Desk has three product verticals: Asset Finance & Securitization (which includes CLOs), High Grade Finance and Leveraged Finance. The desk acts as an important contact point between the private (Banking, Origination) and public markets (Investors, Sales, Trading, and Research).The Syndicate Desk is looking for a AFS (CLO) Syndicate Analyst / Associate to support the team and its daily operations. Responsibilities:The successful Analyst or Associate candidate will report directly to the Head of US CLO Syndicate and will be an important addition to facilitate the ongoing growth of the franchise. The skills / responsibilities required for such a candidate are outlined below:
  • Ability to multitask at a high level.
  • Able to manage the CLO syndication process; coordinating Investor asks with CLO Structuring and providing documents requested by Investors via Sales.
  • CLO Issuer marketing; setting up roadshows and organizing conferences; ensuring clients are kept up to date and managed throughout the process.
  • Strong knowledge of the CLO product is beneficial (documentation, structure, and developments in the product) and being able to work very closely with the US and European CLO deal teams on a day-to-day basis.
  • Monitor public news reports for accuracy of deal announcements:
  • Interact with news sources
  • Post and quality check league table submissions
  • Book and settle trades;
  • Manage P&L reports
  • Liaise with agency & operations teams to ensure settlement integrity
  • Maintain internal trade blotters and bookings
  • Manage post pricing procedures
  • Inclusive mind-set with a focus on collaborating the European CLO business.
  • Relationship oriented; focus on relationship building across both Issuers and Investors to support the continued growth of the CLO primary franchise.

The expected starting salary for this position is $105,000 - 110,000 for an Analyst annually and 150,000 - 200,000 for an Associate. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.In addition, our comprehensive benefits package aims to support our employees in various aspects of their lives.
