- Reviews and approves data sensitivity reviews submitted by business domains and data initiatives to ensure the level of protection required for data complies with internal policies and procedures
- Develops subject matter expertise on enterprise data sensitivity and maintain the list of sensitivity data elements in partnership with the Enterprise Privacy Office and Information Security & Controls
- Develop strong working relationships with partners across the organization, to ensure consistency and alignment on best practices
- Track and report on process performance and adherence, identifying areas of improvement and recommending practical and innovative solutions
- Support data governance tools by managing business requirements, represent the Data Office in the sprints and conducting business acceptance testing as required
- Provides training and support of the data governance process and tooling to business domains
- Develops and maintains user guides to ensure data domains have resources required for data sensitivity reviews
- This role requires an understanding of data governance leading practices and strong knowledge of the Bank's data policy and standards
- Experience in data governance initiatives, policy and standards and providing guidance and support to data domains
- Ability to exercise good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions
- Project management skills in order to handle diverse projects, often simultaneously, and meet aggressive deadlines
- Ability to solve technical processes/problems and understand complex details
- Ability to increase operating efficiency and produce high quality technical solutions
- A high level of interpersonal, verbal and presentation skills necessary to relate to other people
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience, preferably in a bank / financial institution
