- Reviewing and understanding Work Orders, assembly instructions, and specifications.
- Setting up and organizing the work area with the necessary tools, materials, and components.
- Identifying and gathering the required electrical and mechanical components for transformer assembly.
- Ensuring proper alignment and arrangement of core materials.
- Connecting electrical components using wiring and soldering techniques ensuring secure and reliable electrical connections.
- Assembling the transformer's enclosure or casing to protect internal components.
- Sealing enclosures using Sonic Welding equipment or other approved means.
- Inspecting the assembled transformer for defects and quality assurance.
- Applying labels, markings, or identification tags to transformers according to specifications
- Collaborating with team members, engineers, and quality control personnel.
- Communicating any issues or challenges in the assembly process.
- Ability to work with steel or nickel materials
- Handle chemicals like acetone and loctite
- Due to various colored wires, the ability to accurately differentiate between colors is essential
- High School Diploma or GED is preferred but NOT required-the key is they want to make sure the candidate can perform basic math functions (adding/subtracting/multiplying/dividing)
- Vocational training or coursework in electrical or mechanical assembly, or related field, is beneficial.
- Soldering experience is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexibility to adapt to changes in production schedules, assembly processes, or product designs.
- Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Temp-Hire
- Day shift: Mon-Fri from 7:00am - 3:30pm
- Day shift: $15/hr - Increase to $16 upon permanent hire
- It is a small team environment so a commitment to showing up every day, on time is critical
