Learn more about our cultureJob DescriptionResponsibilitiesProvide Engineering Cost Readiness support to PDIL Project Managers: BOM verifications, routings, sort strings, time studies, training documents and other process/product documents.Work with NP Teams to coordinate and facilitate product development runs.Perform verifications to Development Run and Release documentation to ensure BOMs, Routings, Sort Strings, Method Sheets, and Fixture Identification are accurate and match.Work directly with the NP Materials, Production Planning and Production Team Leaders related to scheduling and back flushing Development Runs.Work with Manufacturing Engineers and Tool & Equipment Engineers to complete R&R's for new test fixtures.Manage the release of service kits which may require development builds to approve service kits for production. Complete and submit PPAP reports for approval of service kits and release to production as required.Train Associates on New Product introductions related to the assembly, test and packaging process.Identify improvement opportunities in relation to manufacturing operations.Identify process improvement opportunities/gaps in current processes and systems within PDE/PDIL. Participate in PDE/PDIL process improvement initiatives.Write and process ECR's to support product and/or process changes.Assist PM with maintaining 1475 inventory.Ship packages for projects as needed.Assist in organizing and troubleshooting development run related tasks.Create rework documentation for project related reworkParticipate in Manufacturing Design Review (DFA/FIA and PFMEA) activities.Participate in all salaried required plant safety training events. Complete SOS audits as scheduled per team/audit schedule. Support Safety Sign-off on new fixtures.Work hours will need to be flexible to support scheduled Development Builds and/or Start-up TrainingPerform other duties as assigned.QualificationsAn Associate's degree, preferably in Engineering or Industrial Technology, is required. In lieu of a degree, will consider 5 years of Team Leader/Material Stocker experience.Minimum of 3 years of Team Leader/Material Stocker experience to include a minimum of 1 year of experience in daily activities with routings, method sheets, and BOM's is required.No more than 1 attendance incident.Demonstrated knowledge of Moen products and processesAbility to mathematically calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.Demonstrated proficiency with the following software: SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.Additional InformationAt Fortune Brands Innovations, we support the overall health and wellness of our associates by offering comprehensive, competitive benefits that prioritize all aspects of wellbeing and provide flexibility for our teammates' unique needs.
