- Manage a caseload of plaintiff personal injury cases, including but not limited to motor vehicle accidents, slip and falls, product liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and evaluate the merit of potential claims.
- Provide legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the entire litigation process.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents necessary for court proceedings.
- Conduct depositions, negotiate settlements, and represent clients at mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case management and client satisfaction.
- Stay up to date with changes in personal injury law and legal precedents to effectively advocate for clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, medical professionals, experts, and other relevant parties.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience practicing plaintiff personal injury law.
- Proven track record of successfully litigating and negotiating personal injury cases.
- In-depth knowledge of personal injury law, including statutes, regulations, and case precedents.
- Trial experience highly preferred.
- Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders.
- Exceptional negotiation and advocacy skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Demonstrated empathy and compassion towards clients and their families.
